Was kommt als nächstes?

EN: The word “necessity” is shorthand for a principle of order. Things and people must fit in and acknowledge the order: arrangement, command from above — that is necessary, they say. Nothing could be further from the autonomous Romantic subject. Order is abhorrent to it; it stands at odds with the grid, nimbly crosses demarcation lines, breaks apart established structures in order to create something new from chaos — until order swallows the new, thickens it, consumes it, classifies it.
That is necessary, they think. Now the new seems to have disappeared. Yet already, further chaos is emerging at the edges of the advancing front of the scattered troop of the disobedient.
